Attleboro Sun Chronicle
The Sun Chronicle said of Paul - "Heroux has properly questioned Ross' effectiveness in helping MBTA commuters and in getting Gateway City status for Attleboro. He has earned master's degrees at the University of Pennsylvania, the University of Southern California and the Kennedy School of Government. His expertise in measuring whether programs are working or not will prove valuable at the Statehouse, as will his experience in corrections."

We especially urge everyone to support Paul in light of the fact that his opponent has a history of being unsupportive if not outright hostile to LGBT issues. We hope this endorsement will help to encourage the growing number of constituents of this district who are working hard to elect Paul on Nov. 6."

2012 TESTIMONIALS
We need a serious change in our representation, Paul! - Robert C.
I am getting phone calls at 8 a.m. from non-Dem friends wanting to know what the City Committee is doing to support Paul... I listened for 1/2 hour as this person went on as to why Paul should be our next rep. He didn't know my yard proudly supports a Paul sign! - Jackie Moore Romaniecki
Last night I really surprised that Paul Heroux to visit me. I had the pleasures of meeting him who is running for State Representative. I found Paul to be very helpful and friendly, especially since Paul knew sign language and able to talk me because I am deaf and disabled. He explained to me his stance of helping the older citizens here in Attleboro and promised to work toward keep medical cost down. He seems to know what he wanted to work for in Attleboro and the prospects of increasing job opportunities here. I think as an older handicapped citizen of Attleboro he will be a good choice in the up coming primary & election. I was very impressed and agreed to give him my vote. His background is perfect for becoming a STATE REPRESENTATIVE and I want to help him succeed. I AM A BIG FAN of PAUL HEROUX ! - Jimmy B. Kelly Jr.
Hi Paul: I was at work when you visited my home last week. My wife, Jan, was very impressed and we agreed to give you our votes. Your background is perfect for becoming a state rep. and we want to help you succeed. - Ty W.

Paul: We recently met and talked for a while. I was impressed and thought you could bring some change to government. I look forward to supporting you in your race. - David S.
Brilliantly written. Probably the most accurate description of the situation on ground. - Sourav R.
A total summary of the issue of drug abuse in America in a 2 page editorial would be impossible, but Paul has nearly done the impossible! - raynham_resident (4/30/2012)
Hi Paul, I will miss reading your articles in the Sun Chronicle. However, I want you to know when you run for office as soon as I find out will put check in mail to help your election process. - Robert N.
There isn't a candidate running for State Rep in Attleboro this year that is more focused on the Economy and job creation as well as equal rights and opportunities for everyone in the 2nd Bristol District. My support and endorsement goes out to Paul Heroux whose education and life experiences make him more qualified for the position than our current rep. We need a "Doer" not do nothing. Lets send Paul to Beacon Hill to fight for us! - Joey L. (4/26/2012)
Good luck, Paul! As you know, Carol and I are BIG fans of Paul Heroux. Thank you very much for all of the help that you provided last year. - John S.
You may be the only Democrat I would ever support! Good luck, Paul. I remember well from first hand experience that there isn't anything you do that doesn't involve your whole heart and soul. - Liz P-B
I read your editorial today in the Sun Chronicle and was extremely impressed. You said a lot of things that should be common sense, but the American public has gotten so used to being spoon fed. We're constantly inundated with propaganda, but seem to have lost the ability to process it. Thanks for your insightful writing. Keep up the good work. -
Lars G-W
Paul, Thanks for bringing sanity to the debt ceiling debate. - Ken C.
Paul, Just wanted to let you know how timely and appropriate your article was, “facts too often lost as opinions take their shape” . I was trying to see which way your politics lean and could not decipher at all from your article, which was a breath of fresh air. I happen to lean pretty far one way, but both parties need to stop the politics and do what`s best for all. - Thanks, Jim J.
It has been a pleasure reading your columns, and passing some on to friends, over the last 18 months. It has been refreshing, especially on the local level, to read someone who uses critical thinking skills and solid factual material wrapped within a positive, moral philosophy on the role of government in society. Thank you for educating us on some none popular public policy areas, i.e. corrections, mental health, etc. You have proven to be a good teacher.
I'm pleased that you heard me ranting in my kitchen these past few months, "Why doesn't this guy run for office?" Unfortunately, the rest of my statement was "Because we are not ready to use pure reason and logic in electing our leaders." I hope that you prove me far to cynical. - Jack H

I am a Paul's friend from Japan (we got to know each other at Harvard). Paul is, of course, a great expert of management for governmental and business bodies. Yet, he also astonishingly has a deep and broad insight on international relations. I was stunned to know how he clearly analyzes the complicate situations in East Asian relationships. I hope the constituencies realize his competence! - Yukikaze
I'm from Philippines and i met this man in Saudi Arabia a very kind man with a good heart who deserves to be a leader, wish you all the best Paul Heroux me and family will be praying for you. Good luck and God bless. - Alvin A.
I don't usually reply to Newspaper articles, however since you said this is the last column I want to say good luck. I will miss your incite on the the economy and politics or whatever it is called these days in Boston and DC. You have seemed to me to be centered on the issues, perhaps a little to the left on social aspects but I felt you always tried to show fairness and balance. Thank you for describing what is often very complicated issues in a clear and simple manner often the media bogs the reader in technical terms.
You mentioned going into public life but did not say in what capacity, whatever it is I wish you a lot of luck and success. I look forward to seeing you in some political manner doing the best you can for the greater good. Above all keep your moral and ethical compass in the right direction, in politics that is very difficult. - David B
